Duane Morris & Selvam Adds Babita Ambekar to Bolster Marketing & Business Development in Singapore SINGAPORE, July 12, 2011 – Duane Morris & Selvam LLP announced today a key practice support appointment to drive its expansion plans in Asia. Babita Ambekar has been retained to head the Firm's marketing and business development initiatives in Singapore and across the region. She has also been specifically tasked with supporting the Firm's Asian expansion strategy. Prior to her assignment with Duane Morris & Selvam, Ambekar was Regional Head of Marketing and Business Development at LexisNexis Asia, where she managed a marketing and business development team based out of Hong Kong. During her tenure with LexisNexis, Ambekar led the acquisition of a Chinese language online information service and was responsible for obtaining the company's publishing license in Japan. She is a solicitor of England and Wales and previously worked for Andersen Legal in London.
